In 2021, he was elected by the Republican Assembly as a Member of the National Council for Higher Education and Research-Scientific Activity. I am the author of a number of articles, two books on the diagnosis and therapy of stuttering and a practical guide to remediation of sensory aphasia. I have developed my methodology for stuttering therapy using the biofeedback method. I am a member of the Balkan Association of Neurofeedback, Biofeedback and Neuromodulation, Bulgarian Association of Public Health, the Bulgarian Stroke Society, the International Stuttering Association. I am a trusted speech therapist for the Association of People with Craniofacial Anomalies.

Prof. Dr. Dimitar Kolev is a neurologist with over 20 years of clinical experience at the Military Medical Academy in Sofia. He is a lecturer at South-West University in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria and teaching courses in neurolinguistics, neuropsychology, and applied psychophysiology. He has specialized in the USA and the Netherlands in the fields of neuropsychology and cognology.
